Internal consultant, responsible for developing reporting tools for the Merchandising Department.
Responsibilities:
- Implements software development life cycle (SDLC) to build business solutions under the highest standards and procedures.
- Maps and documents business processes to make recommendations to improve quality, cycle times and resources. Monitors, evaluates results and makes adjustments.
- Synthesizes complex business data to design and automate analysis reports with relevant information for management decision making.
- Provides technical support to business users; develops training materials for computer related courses, and eventually conducts training.
- Developing and maintaining Merchandising Reporting Web site and the BI tools for the Category Managers and other functions of Merchandising.
- Automating the standard SAS and EXCEL based reports.
- Developing reports to track various key projects and promotions.
- Work with cross functional teams to achieve Data Integrity and uniform reporting.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in (BA, BS), Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuary, Computer or Electronic Engineering or related field.
· MIS or related and 3 years experience developing web based applications using Web Focus or any BI software.
· Write advanced queries using outer joins, unions, and sub-queries in SQL
· Computer skills:
§ Advanced SAS, SQL, OOP
§ Intermediate Visual Basic for Applications, DBMS
· Excellent analytical and project management skills.
· Fully bilingual (English & Spanish languages)
· Master Degree is a plus.
