<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">The SAS Development Manager  will predominantly be involved in developing business solutions by  creating  new and modifying existing SAS processes and/or applications.</span></p>

- Assist in producing and improving store refresh assortment process (hubs as well as non-hub refresh)<br />
- Leading development for special initiatives related to product assortment but outside of the scope of MAP and store refresh.</p>

<p>(2)Manager-Store Analytics:<br />
Convert complex data into business solutions using top of the line statistical methods. Lead the effort to provide fact based modeling insights to customer business plan &amp; value added promotions. Provide expertise, insights &amp; technical knowledge to sale &amp; marketing organizations across multiple business units to enable fact based decision making. <span>Impacts the future success of company by evaluating the effectiveness of marketing &amp; sales programs and deliver insights that lead to greater sales and profit.</span></p>
<p>(3)Manager-Pricing Analytics:<br />
Lead the effort to build pricing models and tools used for understanding pricing at national or retailer level for multiple business units. Enable the effort to improve and enhance collaboration with HQ and retailers by providing effective data insights to optimize pricing. <span>Impacts the future success of company by evaluating the effectiveness of pricing actions and deliver insights that lead to greater sales &amp; profit.</span> Leverage pricing models to answer ad-hoc business questions.</p>
<p>Position Requirements:<br />
Masters in Statistics or Economics is preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience.<br />
SAS programming knowledge is preferred.<br />
Knowledge of econometric modeling concepts, marketing mix analysis is required.<br />
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time is required.<br />
Excellent project mgmt, time mgmt, communications and presentation skills are required.<br />
<span>Must have strong computer skills in: Excel &amp; PowerPoint.</span></p>
<p>Preferred:<br />
SAS certification is preferred.<br />
CPG experience<br />
A strong understanding of a variety of statistical techniques (e.g. regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis) is preferred.<br />

MI achieves  this mission through analysis and health services and other types of  research designed to (1) improve clinical practice, (2) improve BCBST&#8217;s  ability to provide access to and deliver high quality, high-value health  care, and (3) provide policy makers with the ability to assess the impact  of system changes on outcomes, quality, access, cost, and use of health  care resources. The candidate chosen for this position will serve to  support the mission of the MI division. </span></p>

- Automating the standard SAS and EXCEL based reports.<br />

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
