The SAS Development Manager will predominantly be involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing SAS processes and/or applications.

Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of SAS applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.

Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of a team of 14 developers.

Candidate will work closely with the project requirements teams (UAT and BA) to be sure that the development team understands all of the business requirements for every project.

This candidate will work closely with the UAT testing teams to be sure that all defects are assigned properly to the development project staff and will be accountable for on-time project delivery

Presentations and status updates via PowerPoint to peer groups and upper Management

In charge of monthly and quarterly releases (on time quality delivery)

10+ years or more in the IT Field in areas with increasing technical and management responsibility

3 + years experience managing development team of at least 10 or more IT staff

4 + years hands-on technical expertise with SAS

2+ years experience with Rapid Development methodology – AGILE

Additional technology familiarity with .Net, Unix Platform, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe PDF

Ability to lead and motivate a team of highly skilled developers allowing room for creativity in a non-micromanagement environment

3+ years as a Team Leader of IT Development team where experience as an “escalation point” was a key component of the role

Ability to build and create strong partnerships and working relationships with peer groups in other IT segments

Confidence delivering PowerPoint presentations to peer or senior management

Prior healthcare insurance industry a plus but not required

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Work in the Chattanooga, TN office location on a daily basis

Travel up to 10% as needed to Minnesota for business

Description Merchandising analysts are internal consultants for the merchandising department. They provide the data for the line review process as well as a statistical and financial foundation for merchandising decisions regarding pricing and product placement. Specific responsibilities of the position will vary on the basis of project assignment and project role, but typically include:

- Maintaining and enhancing the AutoZone’s home-developed Excel VBA/SAS based system (MAP) to support the merchandising decisions for over 40 categories.
- Supporting the category managers’use of MAP and their stocking decisions consulting with them to help ensure optimal assortment.
- Assist in producing and improving store refresh assortment process (hubs as well as non-hub refresh)
- Leading development for special initiatives related to product assortment but outside of the scope of MAP and store refresh.

Position Requirements Essential requirements include:
•3-5 years experience performing business analysis and track record of increasing responsibility and results or equivalent degree of graduate education.
